Great location and views. Spacious apartment. Well-appointed kitchen with coffee maker (and supplies). Availability of a washing machine.

The host should provide a booklet with instructions for accessing the internet and other features of the apartment (e.g., how to use the coffee maker and washing machine). Extra towels and Kleenex tissues would have been helpful. A dispenser or rod for the toilet paper is needed in each bathroom, plus a place to put cosmetics and other toiletries in one of the bathrooms.

Location was great although a little noisy late at night but we had seen that in other reviews(would recommend ear plugs/noise cancelling headphones). We had booked airport collection with a small city tour on arrival so did not anticipate requiring arrival instructions. We were collected by Ivan's brother who drove us straight to the apartment but he had to call to get the door code etc sent through. In future I would ensure i get the code for door/key safe before arrival. The apartment is fantastic with lots of light, great views and we loved the balconies. There was good water pressure and plenty of hot water for showers. It was a lovely base for our stay and would come back again.

There was signs of mould on the ceiling of the ensuite to the double room due to location of vent not being in shower area and the shower head could be doing with descaling. Minor issues which didn't impact our stay but would give a better impression.

View over Faro and port wonderful. Walking distance to restaurants and old centre. Spacious apartment and very comfortable.
