Sunshine Villa with Heated Pool

Clean , comfortable and so peaceful. Perfect location to explore the Algarve and Faro but so tempting just to chill and relax by the pool. Aircon made the warm nights comfortable and everything you need was there for a large family like ours

Wir haben die Villa eine Woche lang mit sechs Personen bewohnt und insgesamt eine tolle Zeit gehabt. Das Haus bietet viel Platz mit 4 Schlafzimmern und 3, alles war sauber und der Pool sowie der Grillbereich sind perfekt, um gemeinsam zu entspannen oder frischen Fisch zuzubereiten. Die ruhige Lage hat uns ebenfalls gefallen, mit dem Auto ist man schnell im Zentrum von Faro.

Ein paar Punkte fanden wir verbesserungswürdig: Das Haus ist teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen, besonders Geschirr und Gläser wirken recht alt. Außerdem wurden Zusatzkosten für Poolheizung, Poolhandtücher vorab nicht klar kommuniziert. Dass die Kaution von 1000€ erst zwei Wochen nach dem Auszug zurückgezahlt wird, erschien uns ungewöhnlich. Eines der Zimmer war unbewohnbar, weil es stark nach Schimmel gerochen hat. Es gab wohl einen Wasserschaden zuvor. Die Parkplätze befinden sich direkt neben dem Pool und der Sitzecke…wen‘s nicht stört, direkt neben dem Auto zu entspannen… 😅 Für 7 Tage gab es pro Person eine Toilettenpapierrolle, 4 Spülmaschinentabs und kein Waschmittel. Ebenso waren nur die übrig gelassenen Gewürze der Vormieter da. Man musste also vieles neu kaufen…sehr schade für diesen Preis.

The villa is very well equipped and spacious. It is very quiet and safe It's perfect for a quiet get away. Everything you could need was available. There are lots of bars and restaurants in Faro. A week is plenty of time to enjoy the experience. I would have no hesitation recommending the Sunshine Villa Faro is definitely a quiet holiday destination for those who like swimming and sunbathing.

The location was a little too far from anything.Although Faro is less than 10mins away it's not walkable. We had to get Ubers to go there or to the shopping centre as all the shops seem to have relocated on the edge of the city on the motorway. It would have been perfect if there had been a small coffee shop or local bar. There was one about 20mins walk but the roads are quite unsafe in the dark to walk and in some places the pathway just ends abruptly.
