Crete Beach House

Wonderful accommodation! The skylights in the ceilings of the living room and one of the bedrooms make the whole atmosphere so romantic! The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms: inside, it looks much larger than it does from the outside. But most importantly, you’re just 20 m from the beach in Kalyves and a few very nice tavernas. We liked Mistrali and Elena. Our children are no longer little, but for a family with kids, I think it’s the ideal place: an inner courtyard, a beach with sun loungers extremely close by, tavernas next to the house, a huge parking area 30 m away, etc.

Le logement est conforme à ce qui est proposé sur l'annonce et se trouve effectivement à quelques pas de la plage. La rue est relativement calme et la maison fut idéale pour nous et nos amis, impression familiale mais avec assez d'intimité pour se reposer. La question du jour n'était pas "qu'est-ce qu'on mange" mais "où ?". Sous la pergola sur le toit, sur la terrasse avant ou bien un des restaurants derrière le coin? Dilemme... en plus les commerces ne sont pas loin du tout. Nous avons souvent cuisinés nous-même et l'endroit bien équipé avait tout ce qu'il fallait pour. Le propriétaire du lieu s'est montré disponible et rassurant quand nous avons cru avoir perdu les clés😅. Il a pu nous parler en français et pas qu'en anglais. L'endroit était très propre et lumineux. Le logement est à l'image du village de Kalyvès: charmant, chaleureux, mi-rustique, mi-moderne, un endroit où il fait bon vivre.

Ma compagne a trouvé un peu cher pour notre budget de fin de séjour si nous n'étions que deux mais cela vaut son prix : très cosy, décoré avec gout, tenue impeccable et vraiment bien situé.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful location, just a few meters from the beach. The proximity to the sea made everything incredibly relaxing and convenient, especially for families with children. The cleanliness was impeccable throughout the entire property — everything was perfectly maintained and spotless. The facilities are truly top-notch, offering comfort, quality, and everything needed for a stress-free vacation. What impressed us the most was the peaceful atmosphere, the attention to detail, and how family-friendly the place is. It’s definitely a destination where you can create amazing memories with your kids and fully enjoy your holiday. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone looking for a perfect seaside getaway. We will definitely come back!
