A Stones Throw Porthleven

We had a great stay. The location is perfect, just a few metres from the harbour and all the restaurants, shops etc. Check in and out was easy with the lock box. The house is spacious, comfortable and stylish. The kitchen is really well equipped. The shower is powerful. The house/area is quiet day and night - you don't hear any noise from the main town area. We were there in a heatwave and with the fan and there being windows on both sides of the house to catch the sea breeze we were reasonably comfortable. The allocated parking space is so helpful. Strong Wi-Fi and a Smart TV were very welcome. I would definitely stay here again, especially as we love Porthleven!

The location is superb, right on the harbour in the centre of town. Ignore the slightly scruffy outside of the building, the inside is well decorated and nicely furnished. A well appointed kitchen with every appliance and equipment you could need. Comfortable and airy, bearable even in the 30° heat wave. Lots of plants and books, even some weights and a guitar. Not a noisy location.

The actual courtyard location is a bit scruffy but since you don't spend any time in it this does not really matter.

Freundlicher privater Anbieter, perfekte Lage, tolle Ausstattung, bequemes Doppelbett. Supermarkt, Busstation, tolle Restaurants und Geschäfte alle in 3 Minuten zu erreichen. Wohnung versteckt im Courtyard und es war sehr ruhig über Nacht. Parkplatz. Es ist eine Privatwohnung, kein klassisches Ferienhaus.

Location, parking space, interior living space, thoughtful fan in bedroom, loads of coat hangers, huge kitchen, quiet area and neighbours despite being literally’a stones throw’ from the harbour.

Thin pillows and only one each.
