Perfect harbour side getaway

Fantastic location. Really well appointed apartment with everything we needed. Great decor and plenty spacious enough for 2 adults, 2 teens and a border collie. The eco welcome pack was a nice touch. Loved being just seconds away from the harbour with all of its pubs, cafes and restaurants.

Getting out of the car port was challenging, even in our small car. It didn’t bother us, but if you are particularly sensitive to noise or smell it’s worth mentioning there is a Chinese restaurant downstairs, which has fairly loud extraction.

Lovely clean and well-equipped two story apartment close to Porthleven harbour.

Rock Pool House is a lovely two storey apartment which was very clean and well-equipped for a short holiday. The beds were comfortable, lovely living room area, well-equipped kitchen (although we didn't use the dishwasher/washing machine/oven it had everything that we needed - note, you need to switch the toaster on at the plug as it is a Dualit). The location is fab - just a short stroll down to the harbour and very close to some great places to eat/get take away - we ate at The Square and also Amelie - both fantastic!

Although the apartment was spotless, the outside space/steps to the apartment were very dirty (slippery moss etc.) and there was rubbish - the owners need to clean these so it matches the inside of the property. The wood burner didn't work and no wood provided despite being in the details. We bought some wood, tried it and the flat filled with smoke - potentially very dangerous. If it doesn't work then best to label it so.

Beautiful house in beautiful Porthleven

Brilliant location & beautifully decorated house. Hosts were responsive and accommodating, and we loved the little welcome box on arrival. Having parking was such a bonus, and the wood burner made it the perfect winter stay.

Perfect stay in a stunning location

Absolutely fantastic roomy apartment perfectly placed within heady walking distance of the harbour. The apartment was immaculately presented and had everything we needed. Wished we could have stayed longer so have booked again 😄

Loved the welcome pack, a nice touch & cup of tea. Great finish & style. A perfect distance from the front/Harbour.

A small window in the dineing room was damaged on arrival and would'nt close. The washing machine maybe needs ballanceing/adjusting as it was very noisy.
