Gate to Drymades

We arrived 1.5 hours after the official check-in time, expecting the apartment to be ready, only to be told upon arrival that we had to wait another hour because it was still being cleaned (around 4–5 PM). After a long day of traveling, we were exhausted and just wanted to shower and rest. The least the host could have done was notify us in advance instead of making us find out after we arrived. This was very unprofessional. The apartment also wasn’t properly prepared for three guests. One large towel was missing and was only delivered the following day. So we had to wait 24 hours to get it. On top of that, the previous guests’ garbage had not even been taken out. The shower was also a problem, as the drain didn’t work properly and the water didn’t drain away while showering. Overall, the poor communication, lack of preparation, and unprofessional check-in experience made our stay disappointing.
