The property is located about 50 m from the beach promenade and is situated in the heart of the UNESCO South-East Rügen Biosphere Reserve, surrounded by unspoiled nature.

Highlights of the newly revised and digitized exhibition include the valuable Mönchgut traditional costumes as well as the 5,000-year-old grave goods from the legendary “Duke’s Grave.”
