About this cottage rental
Within sight of the historic lighthouse, this deceptively spacious townhouse offers bright, colourful and welcoming holiday accommodation for larger families and groups of friends eager to discover the popular and relaxing seaside town of Southwold. With ample space for up to nine guests, the stylishly decorated semi-detached property features soft furnishings, a range oven and window seat, and provides an ideal base for eager walkers, beach lovers and nature spotters discovering the glorious coastline and spellbinding countryside of an idyllic part of Suffolk.
The property offers a light-filled lounge with a Smart TV and comfortable seating, making a great space for everyone to unwind in at the end of a wonderful day. The spacious kitchen/diner has plenty of light streaming in, and features a central dining table, a cute window seat and plenty of equipment so you can rustle up all your favourite dishes. The ground floor also features a refreshing shower room. A steep cottage-style staircase takes you up to the first floor which has a family bathroom and the first two bedrooms: a colourful twin and a pretty king-size room with a useful en-suite shower room. Further steep stairs lead up to the second floor where you will have a choice of two more bedrooms: a bright, cosy double and a cheery triple, each with low sloping ceilings. Heading outside, the enclosed courtyard has garden furniture and makes a relaxing spot for a morning coffee or a glass or two of wine in the evenings.
The beautiful sandy beach is just 200 metres from the property, with the pier, lighthouse and model boat pond all nearby. Southwold has a vibrant main high street, with a choice of great restaurants, galleries and pubs. Also nearby are Southwold Maize Maze, RSPB Minsmere and Henstead Exotic Gardens, all within 12 miles.
