About this cottage rental
On entering the chalet there is a place to store shoes and hang coats, leading into the open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area.
The lounge consists of a couch, chair and table with a small T.V. and lamp. There is a large window with stunning views of the Quiraing and Staffin Bay. The kitchen is fully equipped for your stay with an oven, toaster, kettle, microwave and fridge freezer. There is even a wine holder.
The bathroom is to the left when you come through the front door, within which there is a toilet, sink with mirror and a bath with overhead shower. The washing machine is also housed here.
Upstairs, the bedroom has a king-sized bed, two bedside tables with lamps and chest of drawers. The window from this room looks out to spectacular views of the Quiraing.
There is ample parking to the side of the cottage and a polytunnel is filled with vegetables and herbs, which guests are encouraged to use.
The cottage sits just below the Quiraing and is within walking distance to Mackenzie’s Store and fuel station. It is also very close to the village of Staffin where you will find Staffin Stores, Columba 1400, Hungry Gull restaurant and Skyelight candle shop. An Corran beach, with its famous dinosaur footprints, and Mealt Falls are only a five minute drive. The Old Man of Storr is only a fifteen minute drive away.
