Luxury self-catering cabin - panoramic mountain views, short walk from the beach

Excellent location to hike the Quiraing and An Storr. Just 30 minutes drive from Portree if you crave an evening out but the kitchen was an excellent plus to make breakfast before heading out.

Wonderful quiet place to stay near outdoor adventure! Great recommendations for services like dining out - but the highlight is the closeness to outdoor hiking and adventure!

Thank you Nate and Lizzie for hosting us! The location of the cabin is a perfect starting point for exploring the Isle of Skye. We loved the thoughtful touches upon arrival, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable and quiet stay there. We will be back!

This beautiful little cabin was exactly what we were looking for and more, ideal spot to explore this amazing island

The property was very clean, and the hosts provided us with plenty of cookware to make meals plus an extensive book on local sightseeing, walks, and places to eat! Modern interior, very warm and cosy, and the bathroom/shower was very comfortable (no problems with hot water!). Lively views from the large windows and curtains to cover up the windows at night. Waking up to views of the hills was really special. Thanks very much!

We were so excited for this location when we booked our trip. We did a road trip all around Isle of Skye and we stayed here for 2 nights and everything about Isle of Sky and this place was our highlight! Thank you so much for everything! Very friendly place!

This cabin worked out well for our plans on the island. It's a great location for getting an early start on the best hikes. It was very comfortable and had a great view of the mountains. Although it's near the owners house, it is positioned to have a nice amount of privacy. Elizabeth was quick to respond to any questions we had and very helpful. We enjoyed some of the items in our welcome basket that she prepared as well. The only disadvantage of staying up in Staffin is that food options are limited so you'll need to plan your meals well while you are near Portree. We would gladly stay here again.

The cabin was a wonderful spot to stay while we were in Skye. It’s very clean, cozy, and well-equipped. We really enjoyed the views and the ability to store and cook food here for our hikes and after.

My partner and I stayed for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon in Scotland and this was the highlight of our trip. The cabin was a perfect place to relax and easily accessible to countless activities in isle of skye. All the touches to the cabin were so thoughtful and we had everything we needed. In fact, we needed up spending an afternoon at the cabin playing scrabble and enjoying the views as we were so comfortable there. Thank you so much Lizzie. We had an amazing time! Everything was exactly as described (or even better - my personal highlight was the coffee machine). You can really see the love our hosts put into the cabin. The location is perfect to explore the most beautiful places on the Isle of Skye. The weather wasn't great during our stay, so we really enjoyed relaxing in the warm, comfortable cabin and looking out on the beautiful landscape after a day of hiking. We also loved the thoughtful welcome gifts. Lizzie was a great host and I would highly recommend staying in the cabin! Thank you for everything!

Exactly enough for a home base to tour skye, a comfortable check in experience and the most comfortable bed we've ever had away from home.

We had a fantastic 5 night stay here. The cabin was perfect. Kitchen very well equipped. Views were incredible and the location exceeded our wildest expectations. Thoroughly recommend staying here for peace and tranquility with amazing countryside and wildlife on your doorstep

This was the cutest little hidden getaway. The cabin was nicely decorated and the views as you sit in the couch was breathtaking and our favourite place to sit. We had a little fire outside while we ate supper and was truly home away from home. Lizzie the host went out of her way to make it comfortable by attending to some of my concerns (without even being asked). They left an amazing little welcome package and though my sister and I do not drink or eat sugar so we did not get to take full advantage, it did not go unnoticed! Thank you for the wonderful stay and definitely a highlight of the trip. Thank you Lizzie!

This was a lovely studio cottage. We stayed for three days and found this to be a great location. We made full use of the kitchen to cook up meals. All necessary items were there. Loved watching the sheep in the pasture next door. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to others.

Lovely cabin with everything you need for a stay in Isle of Skye. Loved hanging out by the fire pit and watching the sheep and other wildlife roam about. Perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. Everything was great and would stay here again!

Very clean all the comforts of home. Only negative was the bed very squishy which gave no support at all.

The property is amazing and well located. It is near the local buses (57A and 57C) that pass fairly frequently. There is also the cafe the hungry gull that I highly suggest going! The locals are also really friendly.

The small cabin we rented was a marvel of efficiency and a simple, beautiful design, placed in a meadow that faced mountains and friendly, grazing sheep. The place had everything we needed, including fine welcome gifts of locally made products. The locals were extraordinarily friendly. Elizabeth was very helpful and available to answer any questions we had. This is a place I will not forget.

Trotternish is the place of stories and this VRBO is your gateway. With incredible views of the Quiraing right from the cabin, this clean studio venue was wonderful for our getaway. The host and hostess made sure everything was ready for us. They had a welcome package and a full booklet of pamphlets to help you get to know the opportunities in the area. It's proximity to the Quiraing Hiking area as well as An Corran beach were great. You are also a short drive from the Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock, and Lealt Falls to name a few others. The drive to and from Portree took a little time, but the scenery made it a journey instead of a burden. We spent time across the Isle of Skye as well as other parts of the Highlands and came away thankful that the bulk of our stay was in Staffin. Despite being situated just in front of a farmhouse, the cabin felt very private, since the windows all faced away from the buildings in close proximity. You can't beat the view that you enjoy every morning, afternoon, and evening. We cooked several meals and found the kitchen to have everything we needed. The small couch next to a small library of games and birding books were enjoyed during our stay. The only drawback of the location was the heat. It was unseasonably warm during our stay and despite following directions of opening the bathroom window and door while shutting all the curtains, it was very very warm in the cabin by the afternoon and into the evening. Regardless, we hope to return!

This quaint cabin on the base of the Quiraing has absolutely spectacular views of the hillsides, the Quiraing, and the surreal beauty that Skye has to offer. Lizzie was absolutely amazing to work with - she is very responsive, kind, and even met us when we checked in to make sure we were settled! She and her husband Nate have a gem of place, and have quite a good thing going with their businesses. We would absolutely stay here again as we loved every second of our stay!

Very peaceful and glorious view. Everything you need in a compact space.. Fully equipped with eco-friendly supplies. Clean and comfortable. Great place to get away from the madding crowd.

Elizabeth and Nate have created a wonderful stay in the north peninsula of the Isle of Skye. Staying at their Quiraing Cabin was very much of what made my solo adventure trip to the Isle of Skye a wonderful experience - the location is perfect for eco-friendly travelers and it is even possible to stay here without renting a car - a local bus stop is nearby that i used entirely. They also answered any enquiry quickly. The place is amazing, i can't wait to revisit!
