Mid-sized studio apartment for rent in a central location in Setermoen, Bardu Municipality. It is 1.2 km from downtown. Amenities: Bedroom with a bed, nightstand, and TV connected to Apple TV. Storage room with various kitchen utensils and facilities for storing and preparing (hot) food. Living room with TV, sofa, table, and recliner. Bathroom with washer/dryer, steam shower, and infrared sauna. The studio apartment is located in the basement. Private entrance. Short-term rental.
The studio apartment is located in the basement at Liveien 5—separate entrance. Drive south from downtown Setermoen on the E6 toward Narvik. Drive past the Smestad building, then turn right off the E6 onto Seterveien. Follow Seterveien uphill for about 160 meters, then turn left onto Skogveien. Follow Skogveien for about 240 meters, then turn right onto Liveien. Liveien 5 is the second gray house on the right side of Liveien, about 80 meters down Liveien. Free parking in the courtyard.
If you’re coming from the south, for example from Narvik or Lofoten, you can turn left onto the E6 and then onto Seterveien before you reach downtown Setermoen, then simply follow Seterveien uphill about 160 meters and turn left onto Skogveien; follow Skogveien for about 240 meters and then turn onto Liveien, where Liveien 5 is the second gray house on the right side of Liveien, about 80 meters down Liveien. If you use Google Maps, you may get different directions, but those will also lead you to the correct location, as there are several routes you can take.
The key to the rental unit is in the key box outside the door to the basement entrance; look for the black key box to the right of the door to the basement entrance. The code for the key box will be sent the day before arrival. Open the key box upon arrival, take out the key, unlock the door to the basement staircase, go down the stairs, and unlock the front door with the key. Photos showing the key box, its location, and simple instructions for using it have been added to this listing’s photo gallery.
Parking: Free parking in the courtyard. If you need to use the electric car charger, drive or back the car into the garage so you can connect to the charger (the electric car charger is located in the garage on the long wall to the left when you’re standing in front of the garage).
Washer/dryer: Feel free to use them. Use the laundry detergent provided in the bathroom or bring your own.
The washing machine and dryer use the same outlet on the back wall. Plug in the machine you’re using.
Living room with a 55-inch TV connected to Google TV, a sofa, a coffee table, and a recliner. The sofa can be converted into a sleeper sofa (sleeps two).
Bathroom. There are a few rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom. Bring or buy extra as needed.
Bedding and towels are in the bedroom. Extra towels are in the bathroom. There is a TV with Apple TV in the bedroom.
Standard toiletries such as soap, shower gel, shampoo, and toilet paper are in the bathroom and may be used freely. Bring or buy extra as needed.
Upon checkout, leave the rental unit as you found it upon arrival. Light cleaning is required. Lock the front door and return the front door key to the key box outside.
The nearest trash container is 100 meters down toward the E6, on Skogveien just before the entrance to Liveien.
There are three grocery stores in Setermoen: Coop Extra, Rema 1000, and Bunnpris. Bunnpris is also open on Sundays.
