The view and quality of house.

No breakfast available- option was not clear that prior to our arrivial.,We arrived 1 am and it would have been helpful if information about the breakfast option was given weeks in advance instead of information of advance order for breakfast given the day before.

Wonderful experience

The location is absolutely beautiful and surprisingly practical. It’s close to the ski resort as well as to narvik city center. The staff is very nice and professional.

Great view, but too small

The location is perfect, overlooking Narvik from up the slopes. The place has floor to ceiling french doors across the whole front, so you have a great view. The place is tiny, but at least there are plenty of coat hooks.

Everyone should be aware that the place is TINY. Yes, it says it on booking.com but we did not look closely and anyway probably would have taken "32 square metres for a 2 bedroom flat" for a typo. Probably OK for a single bedroom, but not for 2 bedrooms. There is barely any space in the kitchen to prepare food, and even less to store food (most of our food ended up standing on the floor). There is no oven. The biggest problem really is the bathroom - you need to go through the bathroom to reach one of the bedrooms. The bathroom does not have a separate shower cubicle, meaning every shower sets the whole bathroom under water and you need to wipe down all the floor with a squeegee (provided). The lighting are ceiling spotlights without diffuser, so they would blind you when you look up. We had to wear headtorches to be be able to see into top shelves.

Bathroom is between living and bedroom, you take a shower and you have to cross wet floor. Just to mention something. Depending on the cabin, could be far from the car, to move luggage.

Great stop over in a modern cabin

It was a quirky place to stay- beautiful location, high up and lovely views. Amazingly comfy bed! Warm and cozy. Underfloor heating was toasty! Had everything you need for a short stay.

Absolutely amazing view from the cabin

Amazing view of Narvik and the fjord. It was great to lie in bed and look over the fjord in the morning. Nice little balcony and really quiet. We had everything we needed in the room.

The bedroom was small but we knew what to expect having read the description.

Amazing view, close enough to city-center, but also in the middle of nature. Good staff, cozy and modern.

I had a walkway right outside the window in cabin 5, so i had to close the curtain and block out the amazing view so bywalkers didn’t see me naked

Promising accommodation but didn't deliver

It was clean, comfortable and we had a good view. We had a comfortable bed and slept well. We did have problems finding the place but when we rang the property, the staff were helpful.

There was a footpath outside our cabin so anyone walking past could see straight in. As the cabins are glass fronted, it made us feel uncomfortable. The restaurant and other facilities were closed due to preparations for hosting the World Cup, which can't be helped but was disappointing, as we were looking forward to eating at the mountain top. Also, the onsite bar was out of bounds due to a private function, so there were no facilities available.

The concept is cool. Pretty views. Do not stay here during midnight sun. You will NOT sleep. There is no ceiling coverage. Shower is located above the toliet. Terrible unsanitary design.

Nice stay in Narvik with excellent aurora view.

The cabin is at the top of a mountain ski place.It looks like a container with 2 bedroom and one living and kitchen and one bathroom. The bedroom is very tight with one double size bed. There were glasses on 3 sides of the cabin. You can close it with curtains. It has excellent view if the weather is good with the view of Narvik city. And we saw Aurora at the balcony at around 4am which is so nice. And the interior was very moden designed.

There was snowing when we arrived and snows kept falling during the night. The car had to park in front of the reception cabin. We had to pull our luggages throughout the thick snow to the cabin. It would be better for the cabin owner to remove the snow in the path to the cabins.

If you need any kind of assistance or even a welcome from anybody, don't stay here

Views and peace and quiet are great. But there is nobody here to welcome or assist you in a difficult environment. Had to drag my bag around in deep snow (uncleared)with a trolley - no trolley evident when I arrived, nobody there at all and unable to get inside out of the weather. A phone call eventually provided a location for the trolley - 100 metres away in a shed through deep snow. At the very least they could get some snow clearance off the tracks. Or some politeness or helpfulness over the phone. Staff were rude and dismissive. Overall a lovely spot but don't book it if you need any assistance at all.

Interior very modern

Bedding - pillows are uncomfortable ( flat) not giving you any support. Bedroom windows were cracked, should be checked . The access door code was mixed up - was incorrectly set up.

The views were amazing, the sleeping area so cosy and comfortable, and great little balcony. All this in such a quiet area. Perfect to relax

I get others’ reviews about the shower area but with a little bit of organisation, it’s fine. I also think the provision of salt, pepper, coffee and fish washing liquid would be helpful

Nice to spend a night or two (make sure you bring food to cook, including seasonings)

Very interesting modern cabin with a spectacular view. The sky window in bedroom is such lovely way to view the northern lights, I imagine(I didn’t see any as it was summer time). The balcony was a chill place to spend the morning reading a book or chatting with friends. The bed and living room/kitchen area are cozy and clean, as seen in pictures

Bathroom is in between bedroom and living area, and floor is very wet after shower. The kitchen has essentials but I could use some basics such as oil and salt and pepper. The range hood needs some deep cleaning as it keeps dripping grease onto the stove area while I was boiling water (the steam melted the scum in the filter)

Very good position with a fantastic view on fjord and city.

Way too small for 4 people. Technology not working very well: when we arrived temperature was at 27 degrees and no way to refrigerate apart from opening the windows (and letting mosquitos in). Very noisy fans in the room which activate by themselves. Very nice the glass roof in one of the bedrooms … but the Sun wakes you up a 5 AM !

Beautiful construction but missing a human touch

You are not going to beat the views nor the design. You're enclosed by glass perched at 291 meters between mountain and fjord. Furnishings were all top-notch. Good enough to recommend despite the problems we experienced (see below) and the lack of followup.

Despite the recent construction there were a few problems like a malfunctioning (over-active) heating system and lights that could not be turned off. We reported these to the customer service address mentioned in the room but sadly either they are asleep at the wheel or the address is just a black hole as there has been no response even almost a week after we've left.

A beautiful place would definitely return, but some improvements needed

Loved the setting and view, it was stylish and good to have free toiletries and eye masks.

It was a little impractical at times, not alot of storage for suitcases, shower was over the bathroom and the plugs to the bedroom were hard to reach, would benefit from washing up liquid, oil and salt/pepper for help with basics of kitchen

Breathtaking location, would absolutely return

Stunning location. A relaxing and restful way to start our vacation in Narvik after a long flight. The views were beautiful and we liked being able to go to the grocery store then prepare meals in the cabin. It was wonderful to have the freedom to hike up the mountain first thing in the morning.

Just a small point: The lodge was not open to us while we were there. It would have been nice to be able to grab a drink or a snack.

Loved the location. Fabulous modern cubist hut. Well appointed and warm. Great location for skiing: ski in ski out. Great views of Narvik and down the fjord to Lofoten.

Shower is cool, but location kinda weird: directly outside one of the bedrooms. So if other person using shower, the person staying in room adjacent to shower could not leave their room! I suggest a plan of the accommodation available in advance so guests aware.

I paid extra to stay somewhere which was ski in/ski out. Nothing of course that the property could control but there was insufficient snow and we had to drive to the skiing and pay for parking there.

starting to love the contactless check in and check out all around the world. we didn’t meet a single staff member all the way from check in and check out. it was all done via text message. rooms had excellent view of the city. It was a small room but yet the placement of furnitures made it look cozy. modern design with windows everywhere.

the bathrooms were too small, we could barely shower properly without water spilling into the next rooms
