About this cottage rental
Immerse yourselves in the unique beauty of North Norfolk when you stay at this delightful barn. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom, single-storey retreat nestles with other hideaways at Bodham, 3.5 miles from Holt and 5 miles from Sheringham. With a wood burner for autumn and winter evenings and an enclosed courtyard garden, where you can soak up the sunshine, it is perfect for small families or couples.
Wander in to find spacious, airy accommodation with underfloor heating and an abundance of windows. At the heart of the retreat is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with a vaulted ceiling, exposed beams, revealed brick and flintwork, and a chic finish. Pull open the glass doors to the garden in here so you can all spill outside. Stoke up the wood burner to bring a cosy glow to the space. Settle on the plump seating in front of a DVD or a great movie on the Smart TV. Wander over to the chic kitchen, with its granite work surfaces, to prepare delicious meals for your party to enjoy inside or out. Make fresh coffee from the machine or pour yourself a glass of chilled water from the dispenser. When you are ready to retire for the night, there are two sumptuous bedrooms to choose between, a king-size and a twin. There is also a contemporary wet room at the barn. Enjoy coffee and breakfast in the garden on sunny mornings. Cook the fresh Norfolk produce you have sourced on the BBQ outside on warm evenings.
Head into Holt to potter in the shops, choose between a selection of fine eateries and catch a heritage steam train to Sheringham along the North Norfolk Railway. Have a day on the beach at Weybourne, 3.5 miles away. Keen walkers can also pick up the Norfolk Coast Path here.
