About this cottage rental
From the parking area, enter the cottage via the back door, directly into a stylish lounge area. This bright and inviting room boasts panoramic views across the garden and surrounding countryside and is a lovely spot to unwind with a glass of wine at the end of a busy day. The open-plan space blends seamlessly into the contemporary kitchen, which features a sleek breakfast bar and has everything needed for a self-catering holiday. Carry on through to the main lounge and dining room, decorated in neutral tones. Spend time in here, snuggled up on the sofa watching movies on the Smart TV or reading a book in the warming glow of the wood burner. To the rear of the room is a large, wooden dining table for hosting dinner parties and family gatherings. This room also has a front door that leads out onto the road. Rounding off the ground floor is a handy utility room (please note, this room has a low ceiling). Upstairs, choose from three relaxing bedrooms: a king-size, a zip-and-link super-king-size (can be made into a twin on request), and a double, all with plush linens and elegant, wooden furniture. One of the bedrooms also has a stylish, en-suite shower room. The main family bathroom is also on the first floor, with a modern walk-in shower and WC.
Outside, soak up the peace and tranquillity in the enclosed garden, which enjoys mesmerising views across the Cumbrian landscape. There is a gravelled area with picnic bench-style seating and a BBQ for dining alfresco, as well as a private, wood-fired hot tub to relax in after a long walk. Beyond the gravel area is a lawn where children can play. The property has private parking for three cars.
