Colosseo View Penthouse

Central Location

Stayed for a week with a baby and overall had a good experience. The location is excellent, right by the Colosseum, although the address listed at the time of booking was incorrect (the property is at Via del Colosseo 2A). The air conditioning worked very well and the apartment was generally as pictured. A few points to note for future guests. The rooftop furniture was much more basic than shown in the photos, with plastic chairs and no cushions. The apartment is on the fourth floor and the lift is extremely small – a pram only fits when folded, and a person cannot fit inside with two suitcases, so we had to make several trips and use the stairs to move luggage. The apartment was quiet from street noise, but noise from neighbouring apartments and conversations in the stairwell could be heard clearly at times. Communication before arrival via WhatsApp was good, but during the stay responses to questions and requests were ignored. The kitchen had basic cookware, plates and glasses, but was missing a chopping board and tea towels. It would also be helpful if basic supplies such as hand soap were provided. Overall, a comfortable stay in a fantastic location and a good base for exploring Rome.

Clean, spacious, good AC, great location.

Eine saubere, große Wohnung direkt zwischen Forum Romanum und Colloseum. Zentraler und besser angebunden an Metro und Bus geht kaum. ( 300m). Highlight war die riesige Dachterrasse mit Blick auf Kolosseum auf der einen Seite und und Antike Altstadt auf der anderen. Jederzeit ein ungewöhnlich ruhiger Ort für eine Auszeit aus dem geschäftigen Trubel in Rom. Super!

Türgriffe waren teilweise sehr locker und ein paar Schränke/Schubladen klemmten ein wenig. Ist aber kein großes Manko und ist gut zu verkraften anhand der anderen Vorteile.
