Terrazza Maqueroni

This apartment was absolutely exceptional and one of the best places we have stayed in. The property is brand new, located in a new building, and finished to a very high standard. The ceilings are impressively high, giving the apartment a wonderful sense of space, while the huge terrace is perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Palermo. Despite being located right in the heart of the city, the apartment is remarkably quiet because it faces an internal courtyard rather than the street. The apartment features two bathrooms, which is extremely convenient, and the furniture, fittings, and appliances are all modern, stylish, and of excellent quality. The building opens directly onto Via Maqueda, Palermo’s main pedestrian street, making the location simply unbeatable. A particularly rare advantage for Palermo is the private parking space in a secure, gated garage located within the same building. You can go directly from the garage to the apartment by elevator, which made our stay incredibly convenient. The host was outstanding. He assisted us with the check-in process, helped us find and access the parking space, and was always responsive. We experienced a minor issue with a toilet cistern, and it was resolved within an hour—a technician arrived promptly and fixed everything immediately. Overall, this is an exceptional apartment that I would recommend without hesitation to anyone visiting Palermo.

The only potential drawback, and this was not an issue for us, is that the sleeping area is located on the upper level, which is accessed by a spiral staircase. Guests with mobility difficulties may find this challenging. However, there is also a bathroom on the upper level, so it does not affect convenience during the night.
