The house is old and quite traditional. We loved being able to experience the authenticity of staying in a Japanese home. It's also right on the water so it was nice to wake up and go for a stroll along the coastline. And speaking of the coastline, absolutely fantastic to drive in any direction and be graced with spectacular views. The host was very patient whilst we navigated through rural areas of Japan and eventually arrived late to the property (sorry!).
