Great location to discover Largs and Millport. Property was clean and modern

Close to town. Clean & comfortable. Very nice little apartment.

Only 2 pillows. Only one hand towel. No kitchen utensils, such as wooden spoon, spatualar. Very cheap frying pan so could not cook an omelette as planned 😊 People need to know about the alley and stairs access. Very little parking available on the street.

This small apartment is perfect for a couple just clean cut no owners nik nats around which we like no offence to anyone but everyone has their own taste we like a simple look abd thus pkace offered us it a perfect location fir our weekend needs definitely book again. Thankyou to the owner for their quick replies

Hi, We stayed at the Snug at the beginning of July and we’re sorry that it has taken so long to get back to you with some comments. We enjoyed our stay and revisiting the area, however there were many details about your accommodation that could be improved. You may have already dealt with some of these, and we can see from other reviews that you have already been made aware of some too. Given that we only had two nights, there were too many points to be continually requesting that you try and sort them while we were there, although you did promptly deal with the loose front door handle. Although not a concern for us, the steep stone external access stairs should really be highlighted in your property summary. Overall, it is a nice wee flat, conveniently located, smartly done up inside given the age of the basic property, however given the many niggles it was not the comfortable relaxing stay it should have been, given the rate you charge as well. We get the feeling that you are inexperienced at property rental, so hopefully these comments will be taken positively.

There was a stale smell on arrival, and a drain smell at the kitchen sink. (we are surprised there are no other comments on these...) The lethal slippy door mat needs grip mesh, or a mat with a rubber base! (Ditto) The toilet seat was really loose and dangerous, although apparently fixed previously. 4 of most items in the kitchen, but only 3 mugs, 2 glasses? At least a microwave would be the minimum equipment expected, and basics for light cooking: a chopping board (you provide sharp knives!), can opener, grater, stirring spoon, ladle etc. The kitchen blind was jammed, and the fridge rocks when opening which disturbs things inside. Some basic advice notes on WiFi and TV setup would be helpful. Only one bedside table and reading light are provided which is really inconvenient and a basic omission. Six drawers provided in the bedroom, but 5 taken up with spare towels and bedding. Only one pillow each is provided and no spares. Two for each person would be normal. There was no provision for hanging clothes. The carpet edges at changes in flooring are just on spikes which is dangerous; these should be proper metal strip edges. As others have pointed out to you, the squeaky doors to the bathroom and lounge were a real pain at night, and the bedroom door being jammed open on the (very nice) thick new carpet… just get the door trimmed down! Externally there is no "direct beachfront access, stunning garden views, or a lush garden.” , and that dismal, poorly lit entrance close could do with brightening up a bit in all senses. Finally, your statement that free parking is available at the property is a bit misleading. The whole area is in fact double yellow lines, with just a few spaces in the road opposite for residents and businesses, admittedly with no apparent restrictions. We were just lucky to find a free space on the days we were there, but the alternative would appear to be parking in the seafront pay car park which is out of sight of the flat.
