Initially, I had some difficulty finding the property so I called the owner who very patiently, directed me to the property and the key box. The apartment is beautiful, the photographs don't do it justice. It is finished to a very high standard and had everything I needed. The bed was very comfy and I had the best nights sleep. Good communication from the owner during the stay. The location is perfect, just inside the Sassi, perfect for exploring all that Matera has to offer. Great coffee shop for breakfast just a minutes walk from the property, and lots of great restaurants nearby.

The cave experience was great. Had all the modern amenities too including washer/dryer, good water pressure, kitchen supplies, good AC/heat, large flat screen TV. Within the old district. Owner is very nice
Parking garage is about 5 min walk. Safer there than paid parking on streets
Matera is wonderful.
