Suites Palermo

We booked this particular room because our first choice, the Ad Hoc Rooms upstairs, was fully booked, and we needed two rooms: one for our family of three, and one for my mom, who was traveling with us through Sicily. She ended up staying in Suites Palermo instead and had a wonderful experience. A lovely touch during our stay: the owner of Ad Hoc Rooms kindly invited my mother to join us for breakfast on their terrace upstairs, a generous gesture we truly appreciated. I believe breakfast isn't typically included with a stay here, so this felt like an especially thoughtful gift. The room itself matched the photos perfectly, complete with a Nespresso machine and air conditioning. It does face a busy street, but since my mom has some hearing loss, the noise wasn't an issue for her. One practical note: the property is on the second floor with no elevator, so pack light if you're traveling through Italy, as many older buildings here don't have one.

One of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in! Newly refurbished with a lovely wooden floor. Location is around the corner from the Quattro Canti.

Bars outside down below so can be a little loud and busy into the night but it was the football World Cup.

Perfect location, can’t get better than that. Uncomplicated check-in, person was there punctually. Room looks even better than in the pictures. Good AC, good Wi-Fi, clean, comfortable room, modern furniture.

The only thing which can be an issue is how loud it is, as there are a couple of loud bars just opposite. It wasn’t an issue for me, but I’d recommend bringing earplugs or noise cancellation earphones.
