The host, Connie, are very accommodating and kind! The place are very clean, quiet, and cozy. It has a very nice overlooking view of the mountain as well. Perfect place to rent out for relaxation and chill nights. Also, we have left an important item and she didn't hesitate to help us. Very much appreciated and approachable. We'll gonna drop by next time we back in NZ.

Very comfortable two night stay. We've just read the other reviews and are quite surprised, several don't match our experience at all. We stayed in the King Room, which was beautifully decorated and very clean. Outstanding views and lots of stars visible at night. One reviewer said there were no locks on bedroom doors, but our lock worked fine. Our ensuite bathroom had a great shower with a door and was very clean. The accommodation does have a shared living room and kitchen area, which is available for use by all guests. It was very clean and comfortable, with a rustic/country decor, a fireplace and spectacular mountain views. The kitchen was very well equipped, it felt more like someone's cosy home than a generic shared space (in a good way). We only met one other family using the kitchen and had some nice chats.

The accommodation is newly open for business, and we could see there were still some tweaks being made. When we stayed there were post-it notes left in places rather than an installed sign (e.g. a polite request to leave the kitchen clean). Signs like this are normal in a shared kitchen space, and we didn't mind the post-it.

Communal kitchen and living was well presented.

The booking listing advertised it was suitable for 3 adults then the host proceeded to add an additional charge for linen. The bed for the third adult is a ‘camp stretcher’ style, cannot recommend as good value for money. Towels from previous guests were in the bathroom. Road noise during the night.

Good, clean and basic accommodation with a spectacular view. The room is spacious and tidy, with the essentials and an en‑suite bathroom. The bed could do with being replaced. There are four rooms in total, one of which is used by the hostess. The kitchen is a shared space. However, there is no coffee, milk, or other basic supplies provided, so you’ll need to bring your own. The place is neat, clean, and suitable for someone just passing through. Overall, a good stay.
