Beautiful.. tastefully decorated but also with a comfortable homely feel. Warm, clean and so comfortable. The hosts were fantastic very hospitable, tasty lovely food and made you feel like family.

We didn’t expect to find such a hidden gem! The photos do not reflect even half of the charm of this amazing house - it is a box with treasures, you can spend the whole evening just exploring them! The rooms are beautifully decorated, each with its own character. The house is in a beautiful place on the lake, which conveniently located near Twizel and on the way to Mt Cook. But putting aside the beauty of the place itself, Hugh and Dwayne will make your stay special as the whole story of this place is really inspiring. Please say yes if you are offered a dinner - you will definitely enjoy great food, wine and wonderful company, and I doubt any Twizel restaurants can offer the same:) We left with the feeling that we made new friends! One of the best places we’ve ever stayed in! Hopefully, we will be able to return some day:)
