We had a great stay! Communication with the owner was speedy and excellent from the start including arranging a cot. Key collection was very easy and straightforward. The house pleasantly surprised us with all the little extras that were provided and that we weren’t expecting, including washing-up liquid, bin bags, toilet rolls, shower gel and even ear buds! All of the beds were single beds, with no doubles, but they were very comfortable and came with fresh, clean linen. The bathroom was also clean and tidy, and the shower had great water pressure. Overall, a comfortable, clean and well-equipped place to stay with lots of thoughtful touches. We would happily recommend it and stay again!

A few minor improvement suggestions. The garden could do with a little makeover to make it more child-friendly and safe. Although there is a swing included, it is more suitable for older children, and the fencing could also do with some attention. The carpet going up the stairs could benefit from a shampoo or deep clean. However, these points did not affect our stay or overall enjoyment. There was a great selection of TV channels and Netflix available. However, we did notice that some of the usual channels, such as BBC1 and ITV, were missing. This wasn’t a major issue, as we were still able to watch a movie and keep our granddaughter entertained with cartoons!
