This is a truly special property perched on a hilltop in the midst of beautiful Trione-Annadel park in Santa Rosa. You can take in the all the native flora and fauna of Sonoma County on the wraparound deck and feel a world away from all the shops and restaurants of Santa Rosa just down the hill.
Master bedroom includes a king bed and private door out to the deck and a jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom. The second bedroom features a full size bed and accordion doors that open to a bonus room and a sunny atrium. The second bathroom comes with a tub/shower and washer and dryer.
The "great" room is the real prize of this midcentury modern home. The L shape couch beckons for movie watching on the 61" smart TV and the giant granite island is great for gathering around while cooking dinner. The dining table is surrounded by giant windows with unobstructed views of the trees around. For big parties, the couch also serves as an extra full bed.
The location has the best of both worlds: access to Howarth Park, Spring Lake and the greater Trione-Annadel State Park directly out the back gate. Lake Ralphine is just a 5 minute walk out of the back gate with Spring Lake roughly a 15 minute walk. Follow the trail further for access to all of Trione-Annadel's many trails especially popular with mountain bikers. Despite feeling like you're completely immersed in nature, the house is surprisingly conveniently located to all of Santa Rosa's shops and restaurants with Montgomery Village a mere 5 minute drive and downtown Santa Rosa 10 minutes away. Located conveniently near Hwy 12, many Sonoma wineries are just minutes away as well.
The 1 acre property is great for strolling and viewing the many trees and wildlife of Sonoma County. Wild turkeys, deer, jack rabbits, owls and many various birds are seen daily. The pond is also home to a goldfish and is a great spot to relax. You can also unwind in the hot tub amidst all of this beauty.
