With a wonderful outlook across Grasmere Lake towards the surrounding mountains, this ground floor cottage is all about the view. Set in an elevated position above the water, it offers a peaceful base for two, with fell walks available from the door and the village centre around a ten minute walk away for shops and cafés. On calmer days, the garden is a perfect place to sit and watch the light change across the lake.
Inside, the cottage feels spacious and welcoming. The lounge and dining area is arranged to make the most of the scenery, and the dining table sits in front of French doors so meals come with a memorable backdrop. A Smart TV and DVD player provide easy evening entertainment, and you can plug in your own streaming device if you wish. The kitchen is well-equipped for self catering, with everything needed for simple suppers or leisurely breakfasts.
After a day outdoors, unwind in the bath, which includes a shower over for convenience. The double bedroom is cosy and comfortably furnished, creating a restful end to the day. There is also an outdoor utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, ideal after wet walks. Outside, enjoy lawned garden space with seating and private parking for one car. Please note there is a stream in a culvert to the side and the slate paving can be slippery when wet.
