Location was excellent, and it was lovely to have a log burner in the evenings. The property had nice character.
The kitchen equipment isn’t very good, there has been some damp in the kitchen too, and the living room furniture isn’t very comfortable. It all feels like it could do with a refresh. There was no welcome pack either, which is fine but it would have been nice if there had been at least milk so we could have made a cup of tea when we arrived!

Perfect holiday in the Lakes
The cottage was perfect- beds were very comfy, the kitchen was kitted out with everything needed and WiFi worked well. It’s situated in a nice quiet lane but is only a 5 minute walk into Grasmere for the tea rooms and shops. Best of all there are plenty of walks straight from the door, to the lakes or up to Easedale tarn.
The parking space behind the cottage was quite tight but we were able to use the hotel car park across the road.
