We absolutely loved the property and can’t understand the other review at all. We stayed two nights and wished we had a week. So peaceful, beautiful, clean, easy parking, laundry - had everything we could want! Thoroughly enjoyed everything John o groats had to offer - the distillery and brewery were awesome!

Spotlessly clean, spacious property.
Very quiet location. Comfortable beds.
Lights left on for our arrival was a lovely touch
Coldest setting for hot water in shower was slightly too hot for me but really, no complaints

The view
And lovely and clean.
Could do with fencing round decking like a private garden.
The log cabin opposite was having decking fitted. So work men banging around all weekend! So not as peaceful as we would have liked it.
I feel they could have put us in another one so we wasn’t beside the one getting worked on. There were plenty of them empty that would have been away from building work and noise.
