Karaköy Prive Suites

I have to admit, I was a little skeptical after reading some of the reviews and wasn’t quite sure what to expect. I always find reviews helpful when travelling, but I also take them with a grain of salt — everyone experiences a hotel differently. This hotel was no exception. For us, there were definitely more positives than negatives. The location was excellent, and the staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful. There were a few language barriers from time to time, but nothing that a little Google Translate couldn’t solve! Our room was clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the restaurant downstairs. The food was genuinely very good and made it easy to enjoy a relaxed meal without having to go anywhere else. We certainly didn’t experience the hotel or staff in the negative way described in some of the reviews. Of course, everyone has their own experience, and I can only speak for ours.

If I had to mention one small downside, it would be the showers. In the evening, there was plenty of lovely hot water, but in the morning it was more lukewarm. Having said that, in August it was perfectly manageable — and certainly not something that affected our stay. At the end of the day, I think a lot comes down to expectations. If you travel with an open mind, a relaxed attitude, and the intention to enjoy your holiday rather than look for perfection, you’ll likely find this hotel to be more than acceptable — and, like us, perhaps even a pleasant surprise.

L'hôtel est très bien placé et très proche de la plupart des activités touristiques d'Istanbul. Le restaurant est de bonne qualité. Le personnel était sympathique.,

Il y a eu une panne d'eau chaude qui a duré 2 soirs. Cela peut arriver, mais c'était un peu gênant car l'eau était vraiment très froide pour se doucher.

Месторасположение прекрасное, все рядом. Полотенца и постельное белоснежные, бутилированная вода, шампунь, кондиционер для волос, мыло и гель пополнялись постоянно

Номера очень компактные, если у вас чемодан на 20 кг, то его негде и открыть особо. Но у нас были hand luggage чемоданы, мы разместились без проблем. Внизу есть хороший ресторанчик, но работает с 12 часов, поэтому завтракать ходили в другое место, Bago называется, в 5 минутах ходьбы в сторону Галатского моста
