Location! Perfect for exploring the backcountry, nearby pubs with good food and a nice quaint swimming hole withn walking distance if you take road towards the Dalegarth Campsites (at the Eskdale War Memorial and Boot School House). Shhh, don't tell anyone else.
A little tricky to find with the GPS. There's a little sign posted to a tree in front of the Stanley House but probably needs to have an arrow showing that's where you turn. Stop by the grocery beforehand as there is not much closeby.

Beautiful, clean and comfy stay in a wonderful cottage in the Lake District what else could anybody want?! Fantastic clear instructions from host. The cottage was clean, comfy and had everything you would need with amazing views. Highly recommend to anybody
