Beautiful views of fields, fells and sheep. Lovely location in Eskdale by the river. Well equipped, house for cooking. Comfortable. Quiet. Lots of walk options from front door step. Walking distance from the Ratty Railway.
I suspect if we were there whilst the campsite was open the area would be a quite a bit busier, but as it was the campsite was not open during our stay.

The location was secluded, serene and very peaceful. The property itself was immaculate with a fully provisioned kitchen complete with crockery and cooking pots, pans and utensils. The furnishings were of good quality.
The host was extremely hands on, messaging us throughout the stay to see if we had settled okay.
The access to the location is extremely difficult to navigate. Though this is no fault of the owner, I feel it is prudent to make others aware.
