Scafell homestead, Cobham, Himeville

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The cottage was beautiful, warm, and inviting, with a cozy, homely feel that made the weekend feel like a real getaway. The spacious layout was perfect for everyone to spend time together without feeling disjointed. The kitchen was laid out perfectly and had everything you would need for a self catering stay. The beds were super comfy and the rooms were tastefully furnished. The photos honestly don’t do the place justice — it’s even more beautiful in person! A special 10/10 to the housekeeper, who was absolutely a gem and fantastic. 🫶 The host Megan is lovely and super accommodating and attentive to requests, exactly what you need in a good host.

It would also be great if there were a shorter walking route through the farm to Cobham Nature Reserve, as the current fencing means you have to walk along the road. Overall, it was a lovely and peaceful getaway, and we would happily return in a heartbeat! 🫡
