About this house rental
The location of Villa Solängen is just fantastic! The lake is only 30 meters away from the house: here you can sunbathe, laze, play on the lawn directly on the shore. There is hardly anything more idyllic than the Tvällensee. A rowing boat with electric outboard is available for you free of charge at the jetty. Villa Solängen has a very sunny southern exposure. On covered days, the covered veranda is ideal (of course with a lake view). The use of four bicycles is free of charge - there is nothing to prevent an active vacation. Anglers also get their money's worth, because the Tvällensee is very rich in fish. Anyone who has to work on the computer occasionally on vacation will find ideal conditions in Villa Solängen: WiFi via high-speed fiber optic cable! The house has a full basement - so there is enough storage space for your holiday equipment and you can park your car in the garage. The lake can also be wonderfully overlooked on the open balcony on the upper floor. The kitchen and living room face the lake. There is space for four people at the kitchen table - the dining table in the lush living room is designed for six people and is a really great place for meals with a view of the Tvällen. It is easy to relax on the comfortable and spacious seating - you can take care of the entertainment yourself or let the XXL LED television "sprinkle" you. One bedroom and the bathroom (with shower) are on the ground floor, the other two bedrooms on the upper floor - from the hallway between the bedrooms you reach the balcony; the hallway is very bright due to the balcony door and window, which is why I have set up a luxurious, height-variable desk with plenty of space for storage; Narrowness does not arise inside or outside the house, because the property is over 4000 m² - the nearest neighbor is forty meters away. If you want to spread out on the shore, the large lawn is yours. You will enjoy the romantic waterfront area with its seating. There are almost immense forests, hardly known lakes and a rich wild population - and all this starts just a stone's throw from your holiday home!

This is a wonderful place to have a relaxing holiday with your family, in contact with nature but also with all the amenities of modern life. The house is very comfortable, exceptionally well equipped and impeccably clean. The location is superb, steps away from a lake and the forest. You can row and swim in the lake and the options for hiking are countless. Bonus: you're 10k away from the Norwegian border and a 2-hour drive to Oslo, a highly recommended trip. Communication with the owner was easy and clear. The house was exactly as described by the ad on this website. Bottom line - a fantastic option for a family holiday. We'll be back!

We had a great stay at the summer villa. It is located in a very quiet area so if you want to enjoy nature's beauty and some well deserved rest, this is the place. It is about a 25- minute drive to the closest store so plan ahead. Well equipped and nicely furnished. Be aware that all the TV stations are pre-programmed to German stations. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to other guests.

This house is situated at a really wonderful location! Just like on the pictures, or even better! We spent two weeks here. We arrived at a clean and warm house. It is in a good shape, especially the furniture. The living room is big and equipped with a huge flat screen TV, with satellite sntenna and several movies. The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable (at least 10 Mbit / s). The kitchen is well equipped, we did not lack anything there.
The surrounding is lovely, the small village is almost like in Astrid Lindgren's books. It is only a few steps to the lake! Down at the water, there is a bridge and a boat which we could use freely. Unfortunately, the boat had no engine. But well, some exercise is always good! :-) Our fishing skills are not good, but we tried our luck and we actually caught some fishes! Mostly Perch Dace and a Pike.
Only several meters from the house there are loads of trails on which we wandered on. They were clearly marked with red dots, or with wooden X during regular intervals. All those trails are probably perfect for skiing and mountain biking too!
The landlord was very flexible and helpful; The booking procedure and questions were solved within hours. He talks fluently Swedish, German and English! We recommend this house and hope to return next year again.
