Great villa, fully equipped, amazing view, spacious, clean and very comfortable. The exercise equippment for a morning routine (yoga mat, roller, expadners, kettlebell and so on) was a great surprise. Small pool is great to refresh after whole day out! Good communication with host, we were very satisfied!

A fantastic vacation in a beautiful, very peaceful apartment with a wonderful view over Funchal! The place is very well decorated and equipped, and it was really nice to find some cooking ingredients, coffee, and cleaning/washing supplies available. The pool, though small, is great for cooling off at the end of a hot day. Self-check-in was very easy and hassle-free and we greatly appreciate the flexibility regarding check-in and check-out schedules. A special thanks to Mr. Nuno, who takes care of the garden; he was very friendly and helpful upon our arrival. Overall, a wonderful stay. We highly recommend it!

Some helpful notes for future guests: Bolt/Uber/Taxi drivers and Activity Tour Guides always had trouble finding this street, and the GPS keeps directing them to the entrance via the narrow side street - one of the guides even scratched the van trying to reach us. We often had to go meet the drivers at the top of the street or explain the route over the phone. This can be a bit stressful and makes things difficult for those traveling with elderly family members or children, since the zigzagging road to the top of the residential complex is quite steep. Renting a car (which we did for our last two days) made getting around much easier.

Big bins are too far away! Not a problem if you are staying for a short time. I will add the staff did take all of the rubbish once we left!
