The staff is charming, accommodating, and eager to help. Li is a gentleman. His English came in handy to facilitate special requests. The facilities have many options for things to do, that unfortunately we did not have time to take advantage of. The meals were fantastic, with exceptional service. The location has views of Mt. Fuji.
There are some signs of wear and tear. Paint and fresh carpet would have this establishment on par with elite hotels.

The location was a little bit isolated but I love the fact that this is an old resort hotel. You can feel the classic vibe here.
The room is very spacious and we slept like a baby. Very comfortable!
They also has onsen and we enjoyed it.
There are training room (gym which only has cardio machine though), Mahjong room, bar lounge, and a nice view garden.
The bidet inside our toilet was not working.

The floor lifts had a tendency to close its doors before persons had moved in or out of the lift. I know they are older style lifts but catches you off guard if you are used to the newer automatic sensor type doors. It will close its doors on you if your to slow to enter the lift.
