V86 - Charming 1BR Duplex by the Sea in Senglea

Everything was great! The room was spacious, comfortable, and very convenient. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, including plenty of dishes and utensils. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well thought out. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place!

There were a few minor issues with the water pressure in the shower and the electricity, but they were not significant and did not affect our stay. Overall, everything was great and we really enjoyed our time here.

The apartment is in a very convenient location, making it easy to explore the area. The amenities were excellent – having a safe, washer-dryer, iron, hairdryer, and a Smart TV was a big plus. The Wi-Fi was also reasonably fast and reliable. Communication with the host was quick and smooth throughout our stay.

Unfortunately, the overall comfort was heavily impacted by cleanliness and maintenance issues. The bed linen and towels had a very unpleasant, smelly odor (additionally, the towels did not absorb water at all). The apartment was dirty, with dust everywhere and visible residue/limescale on the bathroom tiles. The bathtub was unstable and leaking due to poorly applied silicone. The AC downstairs was not working, and the lightbulbs kept flickering. The apartment is also very dark, with almost no natural daylight. Noise was another major issue – because of loud neighbors and nearby renovations, sleeping without earplugs was absolutely impossible. The bed, although supposed to be a double, had an uncomfortable bump right in the middle. Lastly, there was no complimentary drinking water provided upon arrival, which is a basic necessity after a long journey.
