The apartment was well stocked with amenities, it was clean and had good facilities. Basic cooking facilities in the kitchen, fridge/freezer, washing machine, drying function in the bathroom and a wardrobe in the bedroom. The loft space was comfortable for a small break out space. The property owners were very responsive to messages, although we only needed to contact them once. The apartment is about 20 min walk or 10 min bus to Omori station which connects you to most of Tokyo via Shinagawa and Tokyo stations. Easy trip to Yokohama as well. A quiet location down a short lane way, it was pleasant to come back to each day after a busy day in Tokyo. A few convenience stores and a small supermarket are located a short walk away.

The beds are futons. These would be ok for a short stay, but weren’t ideal for a 3 weeks stay. We managed ok, but after long days walking and my back and hip problems I had some difficulty sleeping comfortably most nights. However, my husband slept just fine.

Our stay in Villa Omori was perfect; we wanted a place with plenty of space to unwind yet close to Omori station hub that gets you into heart of Tokyo city easily. This was perfect. With 3 levels/floor of living space, the place provided us a good sized bedroom for a family to sleep well, clean bathrooms and to top it up facilities such as Washing machine and even a dedicated game/books/toy room which our 11 year old absolutely loved. But the real difference was not in the place itself, but with the wonderful hosts. We were really made to feel at home in a totally new alien city for us, the host was always there to help with any queries or help, not just related to the place! The host took time out of his weekend schedule to do a complimentary photo shoot and took us to places we would otherwise not have seen/gone. All in all, we left Tokyo with a bucket load of cherished memories. We would definitely stay here again if we come to Tokyo, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a lovely place with even lovely hosts!
