Penthouse Suite 70th floor Karlatornet Gothenburg

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment in Gothenburg! Located on the 70th floor, it offers breathtaking views of the city. The apartment is modern and stylish, with huge windows that let in plenty of natural light. The high ceilings create a wonderful sense of space, making the apartment feel even more spacious and luxurious. A truly amazing place to stay, especially for those who appreciate beautiful views and contemporary design. Highly recommended!

Although we appreciated the apartment’s stunning views and modern design, there were several aspects of our stay that could be improved. Considering the relatively high price, we were surprised that the use of the washing machine was not included in the rate and required an additional payment. The extra charge for parking was also disappointing. The surrounding area is still under construction, which takes away from the overall impression when arriving at the building. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi connection was very unreliable and did not work for most of our weekend. The dishwasher was also not working, meaning we were unable to use it during our stay. There were also some maintenance issues that affected our comfort. The sofa bed in the living room was damaged, with the wooden slats underneath the mattress repeatedly falling out and causing the mattress to sink while sleeping. In addition, the key provided to access the building did not work properly. Finally, the host was not particularly flexible regarding an earlier check-in, which would have been appreciated. Overall, the apartment has great potential thanks to its spectacular views and modern interior, but we feel that several practical issues, maintenance problems, and additional charges should be addressed to make the experience better match the price.
