About this house rental
Welcome to the Nordwärts Vacation Home! This detached house in Tönning offers plenty of space for up to 6 people across its generous 120 m²—ideal for families, friends, or anyone who values comfort and a relaxing getaway. The house was built in 1955 and was lovingly and meticulously renovated in 2025—combining Nordic charm with modern living comfort.
Location
Tönning is located in the heart of North Frisia and uniquely combines nature, culture, and relaxation. The dike and the sea are right nearby, as is the Wadden Sea National Park. Walks, bike rides, and peaceful moments in the vast North Frisian countryside are part of everyday life here.
The infrastructure is also ideal: The train station is about 250 m away, restaurants are about 200 m away, and shopping is about 550 m away. The North Sea beach is about 13 km away. Whether it’s biking, swimming, visiting museums, or enjoying an ice cream at a café—there’s plenty to discover around Tönning.
Amenities
The open-concept living and dining area features a cozy sofa and an armchair (no sofa corner) and offers a direct view of the greenery. Through the large windows, you can enjoy the nearly secluded garden from both the living and dining areas.
The adjacent dining area, with its large dining table, invites you to enjoy breakfast or dinner with a magnificent view of the greenery.
In the stylishly furnished living room, you can wind down at the end of the day with a movie on the flat-screen TV (satellite reception), a good book, or by the crackling fireplace. A Sonos smart speaker provides the perfect musical accompaniment via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The modern, fully equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired: a ceramic cooktop, oven, dishwasher, and a Bosch fridge-freezer are available. An easy-to-use SMEG fully automatic coffee machine treats you to delicious specialty coffees. Additionally, a kettle, toaster, blender, and a SodaStream are provided. Dishes, silverware, kitchen utensils, and other practical items are, of course, provided.
Bathrooms
Two stylishly furnished bathrooms ensure comfort and flexibility. Both feature a shower, toilet, sink, mirror, window, hot water, and a hair dryer. The bathroom on the first floor also has a bathtub—ideal for moments of relaxation.

On the first floor, there is a bedroom with a bed (1.40 × 2.00 m) and a closet.
Upstairs, there are two additional bedrooms:
one bedroom with a box-spring bed (1.80 × 2.00 m) and a smart TV (streaming capabilities, no satellite reception)
one bedroom with a box-spring bed (1.40 × 2.00 m)
There is also a desk area—ideal for anyone who wants to work occasionally while on vacation.
The washing machine is located in the utility room. There, you can also dry your laundry, store beverage crates, and access the garden directly.
Outdoor Area & Special Features
The highlight is the spacious, approximately 700 m² garden, which offers plenty of room for relaxation and activities while being virtually secluded from view.
Here you’ll find a patio with patio furniture, lounge chairs, and a parasol, as well as a fire pit for cozy evenings. For active guests, a basketball hoop and a trampoline (use at your own risk) are available.
A free private parking space and a carport for bicycles are also provided.
