About this house rental
Welcome to La Paloma Vacation Home, your cozy retreat in the idyllic coastal town of Tönning. The house is situated in a quiet, picturesque location right on the Eider River dike—ideal for anyone who loves peace and quiet, nature, and the North Sea air. With a spacious 130 m², there’s plenty of room for up to six guests in five rooms to enjoy a relaxing stay.
The Location
The house’s location has everything you could wish for: The historic harbor of Tönning is just a few minutes’ walk away and invites you to take leisurely strolls along the waterfront promenade. The region also has plenty to offer in terms of cuisine—for example, at the restaurant Zum Alten Anleger or during a visit to the traditional fishing cooperative. Nature lovers will enjoy a trip to the nearby Oldensworter Vorland nature reserve, which, with its biodiversity, is ideal for hiking and nature observation. And for those who love the North Sea, the wide sandy beach of St. Peter-Ording is just about a 20-minute drive away (approx. 22 km).

The fully equipped, separate kitchen features modern appliances such as an oven, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, and a kettle. All necessary dishes and cooking utensils are also provided. Direct access to the patio allows you to enjoy your meals outdoors when the weather is nice, with a view of Tönning Harbor.
In the cozy living room with an open fireplace, you can relax after an eventful day—whether with a good book or a cozy evening watching TV.
The modern bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower, toilet, and sink. A hair dryer and a makeup mirror are also provided.
A wooden staircase leads you to the upper floor, where there are three bedrooms. Two of the rooms each feature a double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m), while the third bedroom has two single beds (each 90 x 2.00 m). In addition, a separate room is available as a home office—complete with a desk and monitor—ideal for working while enjoying a view of Tönning Harbor.
Special features:
La Paloma is particularly family-friendly: a high chair, crib, and children’s toys are provided. The property was extensively renovated in 2025 and now offers modern comforts in a stylish setting—ideal for families, couples, or groups of friends. A private parking space right next to the house provides added convenience, as does free Wi-Fi. Your pet is welcome upon request—please call us or send us a quick email to let us know what breed of dog you have.
