Friendly staff and welcome to property. Spotless room. Lovely continental breakfast. Fabulous location. Great Irish Bar, supermarket and lots of restaurants nearby
Just unfortunate that no lift at entrance to hotel to take you to reception which is on first floor but staff assisted with carrying luggage which was great. Would definitely recommend and would return to Hotel Lirico

Location, location, location—for what we wanted.
Though common now, I would prefer if they included breakfast in the price of the room, even if they added a few extra euros to the rate. Also, the fact that they offered only eggs hard boiled. Many places we stay at in Italy will have the breakfast server prepare soft-boiled eggs, at various degrees of doneness, on request. Not here.
Also, a couple of things the staff can do nothing about: Steep stairs up to the hotel reception level of the hotel, and the pint-sized elevator. But the staff was very willing to assist with carrying luggage up the stairs.
