the place was exactly like the photos, which is rare these days, we booked it when it had zero reviews, but since I had stayed in a different apartment in the same building, I had somewhat of an idea on what to expect in terms of quality. the apartment came with everything you need, from oil for cooking, salt, sugar, spices, all came in handy. they even had enough toilet paper for the duration of our stay. Vanessa's communication was great, she was trying to be as helpful in getting us the key since we actually arrived at 6am the next day (we missed a night).

being on a lower floor, weekend noises are pretty audible. The other thing is something that I was hesitant to write about, since I really like the level of communication with the owners of this property, but it has to be mentioned. I noticed that in Australia in recent years, check out times have increasingly earlier at 10am instead of 11am and 12pm like everywhere else in the world. 10am is extremely early. Despite booking for 9 nights and them having no bookings the next day, when I asked for late checkout, Vanessa only offered a paid options $65 for 2 hours, which I honestly wasn't unimpressed by. She chose to keep the apartment empty than give customers who stayed 9 nights an extra hour or 2. It feels really cheap when people try to squeeze every cent possible. its a choice they are entitled-to make, they practiced that choice, and as a result I left the apartment with a bitter taste in my mouth. Australia wasn't like this before, The place I stayed at in Noosa after this property gave me late checkout, and early check-in, despite only staying 3 nights, now I'm in Sydney, checking out tomorrow after staying 6 nights and also got free late check out. so if you have flights or picking up a rental car at noon or later, plan well in advance, because there's no complimentary late checkouts. I would have given the place at least a 9 if it wasn't for that.
