Five Senses Hotel and Residence

We had a very pleasant 5-night stay at Five Senses Hotel & Residence in Kuala Lumpur. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped; the washing machine was handy, and they provided the washing liquid too. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the location was convenient for getting around the city. MRT was right opposite the accommodation, only 200 m away, good for families, but if you want to stay close to the city, choose the Bukit Bintang area. The rooftop pool was a real highlight, with beautiful views of the Kuala Lumpur skyline. Fortunately we got room with the view also. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall experience was very comfortable and relaxing. There are a few restaurants nearby, but we couldn't locate any convenience store or supermarket nearby. A great choice for a few nights in KL, especially if you appreciate having extra space and apartment-style facilities. We would happily stay here again!

we couldn't locate any convenience store or supermarket nearby. The Lockers don't fit big luggage, but they have other options, yet you still need to book the lockers; do check it with them regarding leaving the luggage after you check out if you need to leave it for few hours.

The room was decorated well.

It is SO loud. It is right on a main highway, and despite being a new build it has single glazing. You can hear everything in the hallways, for some reason you have to go through a door once you arrive at your floor and it always slams shut. There are loud cars and bikes driving all through the night that will vibrate your bed. The room was not cleaned well. There was hair, dust, leftover used tissue literally sitting on the tables. It was really disappointing. The elevators take so long. There are 40 floors and only 3 lifts, and one often breaks down. They have a "whatsapp" that is supposed to be for communications with staff and reception, but they never once responded. They didn't respond im Booking.com either. They only sent automated messages about leaving a high review to get a discount for future stays. Avoid this place at all costs, I have no clue what all the high reviews are about. The building is also known as "Armandi Residence". Look at their google reviews, it is a terrible place to stay and does not feel comfortable in the slightest.
