Excellent location that is a 3 min walk away from Keikyu-Kamata station, which in turn is under a 10 min ride from Haneda. Direct access to Haneda and Narita. Kamata station is also a 7 minute walk away. Authentic Japanese neighborhood with lots of restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping nearby. The area also has a decent amount of night life with bars and restaurants that are open late. Another big plus is that we hardly saw any tourists in the area, which gave us a taste of an authentic Japanese neighborhood that isn't built to serve tourists. Even though the area is lively and the room is on top of a restaurant, it was really quiet and we didn't have any issues with noise. Nearby restaurants are much cheaper compared to touristy areas of Tokyo. The home itself is really large with a separate bedroom with a full size and twin bed, and a full size and twin bed in the main living room. Sleeps up to 6 (or 4 comfortably). Had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. My wife really appreciated the full sized ironing board, steam iron, and a large quantity of hangers and places to hang clothes. The large dining table with six chairs was great. The TV is absolutely huge and the Nintendo Switch 2 is so much fun. Really comfortable couch is perfect for relaxing and watching TV. Large fridge, washer and dryer, comfortable beds, two air conditioning units that keep the rooms cool. In addition to the washer and dryer combo in the room, there is a small tumble dryer outside in the common area on each floor that is much better at minimizing wrinkles. Toilet is separate from the bathroom, and within the bathroom, the shower has its own door, so you have privacy while using the toilet, sink, or the shower. The host (Hiro) is really nice and responded quickly to questions. He went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable.

I can't think of anything that wouldn't make me stay at this property. Just be aware that if you have heavy suitcases and are not in good enough shape to carry them upstairs, you may want to look for a place with elevators. This property has rooms on both the second and the third floor, and the stairway that leads to the third floor where we stayed is very narrow. We had three 50lb suitcases and I struggled a bit carrying them up and downstairs even though I am quite fit, but that was a minor inconvenience for such a wonderful home. Also, if you need beds for more than three people and/or will be using the beds in the main room, you may need to use blackout eye masks as the hallway light shone through the frosted door and made the main room too bright for us. The hallway light cannot be turned off for safety reasons (switch had tape over it).

Accessibility to public transportations, working house facilities and equipment, check-in, check-out and house rules instructions were clear. Location is nice, there were a lot of places to eat. Host was very helpful and fast with enquiries.

Room was too small for 5 people with 5 big luggages (but its ok). Would be nice to have a guide on how to sort trash properly or an online guide to reference.

Cozy and well decorated place. Huge fridge (for Japanese accommodation standards). Wide and comfortable beds, very nice that they have one separate bedroom with single beds, so they kids could have their own space. Amenities were great, very cool that they let us use the Switch 2.

The surrounding/outside sounds come very easily in in the apartment. There is a bar close to it and every night we could hear loud music somewhat damped (especially in the toilet). And as the place is in the middle of a commercial street, the buzzing crowd can be heard from morning to late night. So we had to use a white noise on the cellphone to be able to sleep better. The placement of the lights is also a bit weird, as the mirror of the toilet is in the dark and it makes a bit hard to use for shaving and make up.
