Convenient 1-Bed Apartment, Close to Beach & Shops

L'emplacement, idéal, à 3mn de la plage, avec un commerce au coin de la rue. Appartement petit mais bien agencé, avec des équipements modernes et fonctionnels. Salle de bain sympa, matériaux de qualité. Pour la cuisson, le airfryer demande un peu d'entraînement au début...

- Le parking gratuit est un problème, il faut le dire. Très peu se places gratuites la journée (quelques unes dans la rue en face, celle qui fait le coin avec l'épicerie). Tout le reste est pour les résidents, "permit holders", de 8h à 18h ou 20h, dans toutes les rues adjacentes. Sinon, il y a un parking "long stay", côté Ouest, à 10mn à pied, et lui aussi est payant. Bref, c'est le point noir ! - Il y a peu de rangements dans l'appartement, difficile de vider 2 valises. Un meuble "pont" au dessus du lit pourrait être la solution. - Pour faire à manger, micro-ondes, bouilloire et airfryer...pas de plaques, c'est un choix je suppose. (un peu dommage). - Nous sommes restés 7 nuits, et pour les poubelles, on nous a dit de les garder dans l'appartement, donc au bout de quelques jours, ça sentait.

Clean and good communication with owners

It was advertised as having parking, but when we got there parking was very difficult, the streets were all designated for resident permit holders and the nearby car parks were all short stay only. We eventually found a long stay car park but this was 15 minute walk away from the apartment.

Location was excellent, close to the beach/sea front and town centre. There were a good selection of restaurants, shops and pubs to keep you entertained, whether that be for live music or for quizzes, conversation, etc The apartment was clean and well maintained and a great base from which to explore. The railway station offered cheap tickets to a lot of coastal locations and Exeter city, also close by was a great visit and only 30 minutes away

Stairs upto apartment a little steep, other than that a great location.

Location. Decor and furnishings. Friendly contact with host.

For a longer stay would need a washing machine. Bathroom/ loo door wouldn’t close properly.
