Unfortunately, I had to leave early due to family illness so didn’t get to make the most of it but what a lovely little

Cozy stay at the beehive

The interior was so well decorated and clean. It just felt so homely and I loved the bee theme. All items were of exceptional quality and it had everything you needed. The bed was super comfy and the heating was on, so was just perfect. The host was so lovely and ensured everything was to an excellent standard. I would really recommend this place!

It was clean and everything worked and the location was perfect for our long weekend. Bee theme was entertaining and the honey for sale was very tasty.

Personally I am tall so found the settee and bed (futon type) a bit too low. The TV was too small because it was too far away from the settee to see comfortably. Shower has no fan to remove steam so very foggy when finished showering making the room feel a bit damp until it dissipated - probably not a big issue when you can get the main door and windows open in summer.

Location was good - on a quiet estate and within a 10 minute walk. decor was good and we had everything we needed, studio was clean.Heating was on.

The toilet room door was not able to close completely therefore not that discreet, but the shower was brilliant. The sofa was rather uncomfortable.

Great communication from the host Kara. Very easy to find and easy to park. Loved loved loved the style of property. Pristine, stylish and homely all at once. Had everything we needed. Walkable to Exmouth Town. Would absolutely recommend!

Well presented and very peaceful property at a nice location. Small cul de sac road outside to park car in - no through traffic noise at all. Easy access into Exmouth.

Despite the one negative issue I totally enjoyed my stay.

Cosy and comfortable, lovely themed apartment. Quite and safe. Able to park in the quiet street. Very central.

The only issue was that I am not keen on bathroom adjacent to kitchen + the bathroom had no window or extractor fan for ventilation.

A wonderful apartment with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Lovely sun trap for a drink and a welcoming host who allowed us to check in early. Very happy with the facilities and the cosiness.

Really nice place that was quiet and relaxed. Only stayed for a long weekend but we were made very welcome. Very clean accommodation. 10 minute walk to the beach.

Cute bee themed break

The property was easy to find and matched the description perfectly. Having all of the streaming services set up and ready to go was well done. WiFi was very good. The nice honey smelling hand-wash and bath gel was amazing! The location is good with a 10-15 minute walk down to the beach and a little longer into town. It's on a main road with very regular buses which is excellent! Complimentary milk, coffee and biscuits was a nice touch. I think overall the property is very good value for money and perfect when you're staying a few nights.

No major complaints but there are a few things to note. Being attached to the owners house, it is definitely a noisy stay and you can hear running around, door slams, etc. Although things seemed to quieten down by 11pm. The fridge also seems overly noisy, I don't know if its on the way out but it makes some kind of processing noise every 10 minutes or so. The bathroom door not closing properly also feels kind of odd, a different handle would surely mean it can be closed properly? One or two others have posted about the shower, and there's definitely something unusual about it. It is on the hot side and even if you tilt it fully towards the cold, it's never actually cold. I don't have any issue with the TV size, it was as advertised after all, but I do wonder if there could be a solution where it's at the end of the bed as that would be amazing! The biggest problem I had was I got absolutely soaked on the Thursday morning running and I couldn't get my clothes to dry no matter where I put them! I don't really know what the host can do here, and I'd be interested to see what usually happens in the winter months where I expect that's more of a problem.

Very well equipped and tastefully decorated. Walkable to town centre and beach.

Despite it being June the studio became chilly in the evening as it was on the main house heating . The host's instructions did tell us about an electric heater which we would have used but felt it was quite late in the evening by that time. However that was our mistake. We would use it another time.

Exmouth Short Break

We really enjoyed our stay at The Beehive and would definitely stay here again. Everything was self contained and presented as per the photos. The owner lives on site and was extremely helpful and friendly with any queries we had, giving useful tips and insights about the area. One of the friendliest hosts we have met.🤩 It was an easy walk to town/beach and the property is in a nice and quiet residential area. We wish we had more time to explore further.🙂

Super little self-contained unit. We will use again.

On arrival we were able to make a cup of tea as the owner had left some fresh milk in the fridge. There were also biscuits. Plenty of towels. A fully equipped kitchen. Easy access to the entrance (off the drive all on one level) parking in the road outside. Toiletries provided.

There was quite limited toilet paper, but we took our own anyway.

Beautiful bee themed property, with everything you could wish for to make it a perfect stay.

This place is a little gem, it is so cosy and love the bee theme througout the property. It was so welcoming, and loved the fact that there was milk in the property along with coffee and tea bags and cookies so you didn't have to go out searching and I could have a cuppa as soon as I got there. The host was super lovely and even when I said I needed an extra plug socket as I was working from there, she went and got me an extension lead. Nothing was too much trouble. Although I was working I got to sightsee too and loved the fact this property was walking distance from the town so easy to get in and out and not have to worry about parking. Loved the little seating area outside, I was lucky with the weather and could sit outside with a drink and enjoy the sunshine.

There is nothing not to like, only that my stay there was not long enough. I will definitely return.

The plumbing is terrible. If the owners in the house do anything you hear every tap, shower, toilet flush and every other noise from their house. The shower is impossible to run at a constant temperature. It's either stone cold or scolding hot. The builders starting work at 07:30 with their radio blasting didn't make for a nice gentle wake up.

Clean, tidy & stylish. Everything was provided for a self catering stay. Plenty of room for 2 people.

The internet kept dropping out. There was nowhere to dry the towels completely. By the second day, it smelt a little damp. You could hear everything from the adjacent property. Dog barking was the worst sound.
