This detached vacation home is located right next to the historic Gulfhof on Lake Wangermeer. Modernly furnished, cozy, and practically equipped, it offers plenty of space to feel at home and relax.

The open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area is bright, spacious, and perfect for spending time together. The kitchen, featuring a cooking island, is fully equipped—including a hot-air fryer, a fully automatic coffee machine, a milk frother, an induction cooktop, and an oven—ideal for anyone who enjoys cooking.
The dining area is separated from the living room by a half-height wall. The living room features large windows overlooking the fields and a 65-inch TV with a soundbar—perfect for cozy movie nights or relaxing moments.
Sleeping Arrangements
• First floor: Double bed (1.80 × 2.00 m)
• Upper floor: two single beds (each 0.90 × 2.00 m), sofa, and small play area for children
An extra bed and a crib can be added if needed.

The house is situated in a quiet location on the grounds of the Gulfhof on the Wangermeer in the Frisian region of Wangerland. The expansive landscape, proximity to the North Sea coast and the Wadden Sea, as well as numerous biking and walking trails, make it a pleasant starting point for a relaxing vacation.

The Gulfhof on the Wangermeer looks back on a history spanning over 200 years: It was built in 1819 by a wealthy farming family and served as a stately residence and working farm for generations. After standing vacant for several decades, the historically protected farmstead was extensively renovated and brought back to life with great attention to detail. The old brickwork, the original wooden framework, and the massive beams were preserved—they continue to define the special atmosphere of the farmstead and each apartment to this day.
Behind the historic walls, eight unique vacation apartments have been created, combining modern comfort with timeless design. Warm oak floors, high-quality furnishings, thoughtful details, private saunas in some units, and a spacious garden with mature trees and an unobstructed southern view create an environment perfect for relaxation and recharging.
The farmstead is idyllically situated and completely secluded on the outskirts of Hohenkirchen—accessible via a small access road and an impressive sight even from a distance.
Just a short walk away lies the Wangermeer, a hidden gem of the region offering a wide range of recreational activities: walking trails, a swimming beach, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), kayaking, and quiet spots to watch the sunset—just like on a North Sea island! Just a few minutes’ drive away are the white-sand beach and surfing paradise of Schillig, the picturesque coastal towns of Carolinensiel and Hooksiel, and the charming old town of Jever. For a day trip, the ferry departs from Harlesiel directly to the car-free island of Wangerooge.
