Two cozy bedrooms with hardwood floors and blackout curtains create a pleasant sleeping environment. In total, the property features three rooms as well as two full bathrooms with walk-in showers and bathtubs, plus a separate guest restroom. The excellent amenities include high-quality bath linens, a cosmetic mirror, and a hair dryer.

The kitchen area, which opens onto the living room, leaves nothing to be desired: Here you’ll find an induction cooktop, oven, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso espresso machine, and classic coffee makers, as well as a food processor, blender, kettle, toaster, and a wide range of kitchen utensils. A dining table and a separate dining area provide ample space for shared meals. For everyday use, a washing machine and dryer (shared use), an iron, an ironing board, and a clothes rack are available. The accommodations are specifically designed for people with allergies and is heated by an eco-friendly heat pump.

The light-filled living area invites you to relax with a comfortable sofa corner, armchairs, and modern entertainment electronics. The Gulfhof on Lake Wangermeer looks back on a history spanning over 200 years: It was built in 1819 by a wealthy farming family and served as a stately residence and working farm for generations. After standing vacant for several decades, the historic, preservation-listed farmstead was extensively renovated and brought back to life with great attention to detail. The old brickwork, the original wooden framework, and the massive beams were preserved—they continue to define the special atmosphere of the estate and each apartment to this day.
Behind the historic walls, eight unique vacation apartments have been created, combining modern comfort with timeless design. Warm oak floors, high-quality furnishings, thoughtful details, private saunas in some units, and a spacious garden with mature trees and an unobstructed southern view create an environment perfect for relaxation and recharging.
The farmstead is idyllically situated and completely secluded on the outskirts of Hohenkirchen—accessible via a small access road and an impressive sight even from a distance.
Within walking distance lies the Wangermeer, a hidden gem of the region offering a wide range of recreational activities: walking trails, a swimming beach, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), kayaking, and quiet spots to watch the sunset—just like on a North Sea island! Just a few minutes’ drive away are the white-sand beach and surfing paradise of Schillig, the picturesque coastal towns of Carolinensiel and Hooksiel, and the charming old town of Jever. For a day trip, the ferry departs from Harlesiel directly to the car-free island of Wangerooge.
