The family-friendly Tilda vacation rental at the historic Gulfhof Wangermeer near Hohenkirchen in Wangerland offers 78 m² of space for up to five people. This high-quality, well-appointed accommodation combines the unique charm of the over 200-year-old Gulfhof with modern living comfort and is ideal for families, couples, and groups traveling together.
Tilda has three separate bedrooms. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed, the second has two single beds, and the third bedroom offers another single bed. This layout provides comfortable private spaces and is particularly practical for families and small travel groups.
The open kitchen is equipped with an induction cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, a blender, as well as dishes and kitchen utensils. The cozy living and dining area offers plenty of space for shared meals and relaxing vacation days.
The vacation rental features a bathroom with a walk-in shower and an additional guest restroom. Underfloor heating, free Wi-Fi, and three TVs provide additional comfort.
The property includes a private furnished terrace, a spacious garden, and a private parking space. An e-bike charging station and wall boxes for electric cars are also available in the courtyard. A washer and dryer are available for use in the communal laundry room.
The Gulfhof am Wangermeer looks back on a history spanning over 200 years: It was built in 1819 by a wealthy farming family and served as a stately residence and working farm for generations. After standing vacant for several decades, the historic, protected farmstead was extensively renovated and brought back to life with great attention to detail. The old bricks, the original wooden framework, and the massive beams were preserved—they continue to define the special atmosphere of the farmstead and each apartment to this day.
Behind the historic walls, eight unique vacation apartments have been created, combining modern comfort with timeless design. Warm oak floors, high-quality furnishings, thoughtful details, some with private saunas, and a spacious garden with mature trees and an unobstructed south-facing view create an environment perfect for relaxation and recharging.
