Urban Solace-Elements of Nature

A lavish space of artistic appreciation, for open-minded guests. We funded work in support of local/ emerging artists.

The theme for our 4 bed 3.5 bath home is based on the elements of nature: Earth, Air, Fire, Water. Each room is an artist's expression of an element.

Our goal is for guests to disconnect from stress, connect with an element, and escape into healing energy.

Close to the airport and major freeways. Tucked away from the chaos of a big city, but close enough to get into Seattle.
The space
We want our guests to relax and feel pampered. We offer luxury touches and a customizable stay:

-Saatva luxury firm queen Award winning mattresses & 1 king Wink luxury firm mattress (in water room)

-French linen, bamboo viscose, or 100% cotton percale bed sheets

-Premium Canadian down duvets and pillows (hypoallergenic)**; Saatva Organic cotton percale duvet covers

-Alexa in each room for personalized lighting and/or sound

-Natural toiletries & essentials provided

-Designer furniture throughout home

Our Water bathroom is the hydrotherapy room. Water fixtures on the right (overhead rain shower, shower head, hand wand) is cold water only. Fixtures on the left (head shower & hand wand) is warm water. Tub has both hot and cold.

Hosts live on-site, in detached, gated off, private dwelling. Guests will have full privacy.

Guests have entire home, backyard, and front yard to themselves.

We sponsored multiple artists for this project, some who damaged parts of our home. You may see residual smudges & stubborn paint. We continue our best efforts to remedy what we can without having to replace expensive & original parts of the home.

Rest assured that we keep the home very clean, using all natural & ammonia-free cleaning products only.

While most of our designer water fixtures output a max of 1.5-2.5 gallons per minute (gpm), our Brizio tub filler is a monster that outputs 10 gpm. Note that if you run the tub filler, the water pressure in the house may go down temporarily. This will also happen temporarily when you run the washing machine. You can pretty much run everything else at once without much effect in water pressure. We recommend filling the tub by itself and not running other water fixtures at the same time.

The back of our backyard is blocked off and under construction, for a spa/pool. The majority of the yard is still available for enjoyment.

We are still redoing some landscaping for a more beautiful yard. We may ask for backyard access to water plants in the evening if allowed by guests. You may refuse our request if you are staying for less than a week and weather is not above 80 degrees. If staying for longer than a week, we will need to access home to water indoor plants (they must be watered once a week) when it is convenient for you.
