Island View-Spectacular view of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains

This is a lovely, well-appointed apartment with a stunning view, in a tranquil neighborhood. It's a peaceful and cozy retreat. There were many thoughtful little touches and extras not all rentals have - including quality stainless steel pans and items for that first morning: coffee, butter, jam, and English muffins. Also an array of little snacks - in case you did not yet get to the nearby grocery stores or restaurants. Ron contacted us well in advance in response to queries, and with clear arrival instructions. He also checked in by text before and during our stay. We know the area and had no other needs, but there was lots of info in the apartment and he would have been happy to help. We had no trouble with the steps down to the apartment from the street, or the designated parking space (maybe don't drive a behemoth). We look forward to a future stay.

Everthing was great except the coffee pot wouldn't brew but that didn't matter at all

The view was beautiful and the space was great!

The house was clean and well stocked with items needed for a comfortable stay. They even left some snacks and coffee for us to use during our stay. There were plenty of clean, fluffy and nice smelling towels for us to use. They provided robes in the bedrooms, which we didn't use, but we thought were a nice touch. Spectacular view and easy access to airport and downtown Seattle. Super quiet and beautiful neighborhood. Ron was very communicative and check-in/check-out was a breeze! After booking, we became aware that this is a unit connected to a larger house. It seemed to be a mother in-law suite or basement add on. We were surprised by this, as none of the pictures or descriptions made us aware of this. Additionally, we could not control the thermostat. It was operated and controlled by the person living in the main area of the house. The heater ran continuously. It was loud and very warm for us. We do not typically use high heat. Fans and additional heaters were provided, the fan was very useful to us. The bedding was not as pictured, and was a bit outdated and not completely comfortable. There was an odor in the apartment that wasn't bad, it was just strong and seemingly not an air freshner. It was an old smell. Very hard to describe, but definitely strong. Overall we had a nice stay.
